Description

AUREA FORMULA is a liquid solution containing NBPT, N-(n-Butyl)thiophosphoric triamide, which acts as urease inhibitor and can be used as additive to urea-based fertilizers to create high-value products. This solution is easily applied and is suitable for the making of slow-realise fertilizers.

The urease enzyme is naturally produced by mushrooms and soil bacteria. Right after the application urea hydrolysis occurs, transforming urea into ammonium carbonate and ammonia, 20% of which is volatilized.

By inhibiting urease NBPT is able to slow down the conversion of urea into ammonium Nitrogen. This makes it possible to keep urea in the soil surface for a longer period of time and minimize volatilization losses caused by high concentrations of ammonia in the soil.

Advantages:

Up to 50% of Nitrogen volatilization losses significantly reduced
readily available Nitrogen for crops, proportionally to their requirements and in each critical stage, for best production and quality
