Features

  • With urease inhibitor
  • Reduces nitrogen losses due to volatilization
  • Increases the availability of nitrogen
  • Increase the yield
  • Progressive and prolonged nutritional intake over time

The Aurea line includes slow release fertilizers containing urea nitrogen with the urease inhibitor NBPT “N (nbutyl) thiophosphoricotriamide”.

The urease enzyme, in nature, is produced by fungi and bacteria present in the soil in high quantities; immediately after application, the urea is hydrolyzed by the urease enzyme producing ammonium carbonate and ammonia (highly volatile) which can be dispersed into the environment by volatilization.

By applying Aurea to the soil, NBPT inhibits the urease enzyme so as to slow down the transformation of urea nitrogen into ammonia. In this way, the residence time of nitrogen in the soil is prolonged and nitrogen losses due to volatilization are significantly reduced. The ammoniacal nitrogen guarantees a sub-acid environment for the root with benefits on the assimilation of low-mobile elements in the soil.

Aurea does not require burying and allows free programming of cover fertilizations regardless of weather forecasts. This greatly facilitates companies in the logistical effort and in the organization of the fertilization plan.

The products of the Aurea line respect the environment and comply with European regulations for the reduction of nitrogen and carbon dioxide emissions in the ecosystem.
